High Lea Farm is a family run working milk farm. Andrew and Rachel have been running the farm for over 20 years and are now helped by there 3 children, Lucy Isabel and Sam. Being in such a wonderful, rural location they decided to open up one of their fields and make it into a camp site. The site has access to the main road but in nice and quiet with amazing views over the small countryside town of Penistone.
There is plenty to do around the area especially for people who enjoy walking or cyclists. There is a private indoor swimming pool 'Williow Lodge' just around the corner. If you take a look at our 'Out and About' page you will see some usful links to activities that are close by.
Those accessing the campsite by public transport have the options of buses from Barnsley and Sheffield. Train services run from Manchester, Huddersfield, Sheffield and Barnsley giving us good network links all over the country.
